RSA provide further specialist design, project scrutiny and management advice in a number of areas:
- RIBA Client Adviser – As an experienced designer in many building sectors, Michael is registered with the RIBA as a Client Advisor and offers his expertise as an independent to Local Authority and other clients, who may already have initiated a project and have a design and build team in place.
- RIBA Client Adviser – Education Register – As an experienced Education architect , Michael is also on the RIBA Client Adviser Education Register and offers this specialist expertise as an independent to Local Authority and other clients, who may already have initiated a project and have a design and build team in place.
- Client Side Technical Scrutiny and Support – Both Catherine and Michael have provided Technical and Scrutiny advice and support to the DfE and other authorities on design scheme competency prepared by third parties.
- Project Management – RSA can provide a separate independent Project Management service, if not involved in the project design and can also provide a project delivery service, co-ordinating self-build trades where a general contractor may not be involved. We can assist you in preparing Employers Requirements and act as Client side Agent, in the event you choose Design & Build as your preferred procurement route.
- Sustainability – RSA can advise on environmentally friendly approaches to building design and construction options, particularly waste reduction, recycling, carbon reduction, passive design solutions and the use of materials from sustainable or local sources.
