Case study for Norwich Bus Station
Completed in 2005 to a design by Michael Spicer whilst a principal architect at NPS Property Consultants Ltd. It replaces dilapidated and outdated buildings with a modern interchange and travel centre providing a new gateway for the City of Norwich. It has won numerous prestigious awards for both design and technical excellence.
Michael Spicer began design work on a feasibility study for a new bus station for Norwich whilst working as an independent Consultant Architect and when he joined NPS Property Consultants Ltd. as a principal in 2003, continued as lead architect to completion. This project has won a number of design awards including the SCALA Civic Building of the Year in 2006. It has been likened to a spaceship having landed in the city!
