Case study for New Housing
Character Properties brief for 21 new houses on a prominent corner site (formerly a Home for the Elderly) in Holt, North Norfolk required a general mix of housing – bungalows, semi, detached and terraces for private sale with a small number required for affordable rent.
Michael Spicer’s design and Steven Cliffe’s execution is intended to be established in appearance, using a variety of traditional materials and details reflecting the typical grain, character and proportions of houses and cottages in North Norfolk.
