Attleborough Community & Enterprise Centre

Case Study for Attleborough Community & Enterprise Centre

Attleborough Community & Enterprise Centre Designed by Michael Spicer whilst a Principal at NPS involved refurbishment of an existing 16th Century timber-framed building, demolition of outbuildings and the construction of a contemporary extension to the side and rear to provide an up to date inclusive facility fitted with the latest technology.

The new building is a prominent “gateway” to Attleborough within a Conservation Area opposite the church. Planning requirements necessitated archaeological monitoring and historic building recording throughout the demolition, excavation works and structural repair to the existing building.
